NextGen InterArts Foundation invites students in grades 6–12 to enter the 2026 XC Creative Art Contest, an international art competition with an open theme. Previously created work is welcome.

Submission window: August 20 – October 20, 2026
Entry: Free to submit, up to 3 artworks per student. A $25 fee applies only if your work is selected to advance (top 10%).

Categories:

  • Science + Art: interactive e-book, 3D printing, kinetic sculpture, artistic circuits, architectural 3D modeling, drawing robots
  • Video Art + Music: short video, music video
  • Literature + Art: book design, literature illustration
  • Traditional Art: drawing, painting, photography, experimental photography, digital art, mixed media
  • Performance Art: theater, performance video

Awards:

  • Gold: $1,000 cash
  • Silver and Bronze: $150 each (winners 2–6)
  • Top 15: letters of recommendation
  • Top 30: option to exhibit at the MusicOn+ InterArts Festival in Manhattan, New York

Timeline: Finalists will be announced November 3. The award ceremony is in December.

Judging: Two preliminary judges review each category, and a main judge decides the final awards.
