Nominate youth now for the Rural Youth Assembly!

We are now accepting nominations and applications for the 2020 Rural Youth Assembly. The summit will bring together fifty young adults (16-24years old) from across the country from April 2-5 in McAllen, Texas to discuss the issues that they see as important to their lives and their communities.

Do you know a young person who should apply to attend the Rural Youth Assembly? Send them our way! Applications are due Friday, January 31 at 5 PM EDT.

“At the Rural Assembly, leadership takes many forms. Some of us are meant to carry megaphones, others write commentary or policy memos. Some craft art and poetry, while others stuff envelopes and work behind the scenes. But all roles are key to building community and creating change. We want all young people, especially those often caught on the margins or those serving community in quiet ways.”
