The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is currently accepting nominations for the 2020–2021 Citizen Artist Fellows, a group of leaders who, through their creative practices, are making positive social impacts within and on behalf of their communities. Any artist, teaching artist, social entrepreneur, or other individual who is 21 years of age or older, who embodies community connection, impact and service, justice, freedom, courage, or gratitude is eligible for nomination. The program elevates artists and change-makers from across the county; nominations open through December 20, 2019.
