The 2008 ArtsPowered Schools teacher institute engaged all of the participants in musical theater workshops.

Three groups of teachers, administrators, and teaching artists “improv”ed their own lyrics to some of the best music from ANNIE. Each group, led by a Shakespeare Festival teaching artist, gave voice to the life they lead as educators. Everyone put their heart into the creation of lyrics, acting out their songs, and into a performance that told the story of their days, their weeks, their lives as EDUCATORS!
