To be included in the author index a writer must have at least one full-length creative work published by a commercial, university-affiliated, collective or peer-reviewed independent press. Featured books represent imagination, originality and artistry and include works of fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, cowboy poetry, plays, screenplays, memoir, or other writing that demonstrates artistic emphasis, consideration or distinction. In line with Idaho Commission for the Arts guidelines this archive does not represent works that are primarily documentary, scholarly, academic, scientific, historic, political, recreational, vocational, journalistic, or religious. We recognize that all writing may include literary or creative qualities, however, writers who work primarily in biography, self-help, health, travel/tourism, song or lyric writing, history or journalism are not included. Writers of children’s books and young adult literature are included only if they have also published creative works intended for adults.
