I am a Traditional Mexican Dancer, as well as a Teaching Artist who is passionate for sharing my culture through dancing to students of all ages. My dance experience spans over 40 years. In my residencies I apply the Idaho Humanities Content Standards, creativity, imagination, and ensure that at the end of the program the students are able to perform in their own display of self confidence, joy, and knowledge in front of their parents and classmates. As a recipient of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Folk and Traditional Arts in 2012, I feel committed to my community and the children.

Special Populations I work with:
I love to teach a range of ages from pre-school to senior citizens, as well as groups of youth who are at risk and minorities. I have a flexible schedule and am English-Spanish bilingual, opening up more opportunities for different groups.
