Kay Braden
A resident of Boise, Kay is a choreographer, teacher and performer and has presented her work in New York, Texas, Europe and throughout the United States. Her curiosity about each dancer’s unique physical potential is reflected in every dance she creates and every class she teaches. Ms. Braden holds n MFA degree in dance from the University of Utah and has served on the faculties of The University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College. She has taught for Interlochen Arts Academy, Balance Dance Company, Technique in Taos, National Choreography Conference, the Idaho Dance Teachers’ Association and St. Mary’s Hall in San Antonio. Braden has been a recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and has been funded by the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Idaho Commission on the Arts.
