The National Gallery of Art's Teacher Institute is a six-day interdisciplinary art program designed for the educator as an adult learner. The Institute provides information about art in its cultural context and techniques for incorporating art in the classroom. The Gallery's education resources include more that 150 color slide programs, teaching packets, films, videocassettes and videodisks that are loaned free of charge.
